Creative teams
Creative project management software built around review rounds.
Creative work produces briefs, drafts, rounds of feedback, changes, and approvals. Relay lets a draft go out for review without the owner losing the work — changes come back, approval moves it forward.
Review the work without losing track of who owns it.
The problem
Reviews are where creative work loses its owner.
A designer sends v2 for feedback. Three people comment. One of them reassigns it to make a note visible. Now the file has moved, the owner has not changed in anyone's head but has changed in the tool, and the next round starts with a conversation about who is doing what.
Rounds are not the problem — creative work needs them. The problem is a model where handing something to a reviewer and handing it to the next maker look identical.
Reviews
Send for review. Keep the work.
In Relay, sending for review moves the action, not the owner. The reviewer has the ball and sees it under Needs you. Requested changes come back to the owner. Approval moves the work forward. Ownership never quietly changes hands mid-round.

Production
Handoffs between makers are a different action.
When design is genuinely done and video takes over, that is a pass: ownership moves, the work leaves one list and appears in another's Needs you, and the project records it.
Keeping passes and reviews as separate actions is what makes a creative project readable later. You can tell the difference between "someone looked at this" and "someone took this over".
- Pass
- Ownership moves to the next maker.
- Review
- The reviewer has it; the owner stays the owner.
- Changes
- Comes back to the owner with the feedback attached.
- Approval
- Moves the work forward under the same owner.
My Work
See which drafts need you and which are with reviewers.
Needs you holds the round that is actually with you. Today is what you chose to do today. Waiting on someone else is work you still own while a reviewer has it. Upcoming is the rest. No round hides in a column nobody opens.

The difference
The project keeps up with the rounds.
Every send, change, and approval is an event, so a creative project's current state is simply the sum of those events. Project Pulse reads them back as what needs attention, what moved, and what is next.
Nobody has to write a recap of a review round that the tool already watched happen.
Put your next round of work in Relay.
Start free with the designers, writers, and reviewers who pass work back and forth every day.
